Sharon’s Biography & Credentials
“I enjoy working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals, whether it’s assisting a family with estate matters, helping an elderly client with their financial affairs or discussing a new business venture. I approach the varied aspects of my job with enthusiasm and the desire to provide the best services, no matter the circumstances.”
Sharon joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association in 2005 when the firm merged with her previous employer. She currently serves as a manager in the firm’s Stratham, New Hampshire office and maintains direct client contact for estate and trust services, tax engagements, attestation work and support for small businesses. Beyond her client responsibilities, Sharon is actively involved with training and managing the office’s staff.
Sharon specializes in individual tax preparation and estate tax matters for the firm’s clients, as well as assisting and training new business owners. Her broad knowledgebase enables her to assist clients in many different facets. More specifically, Sharon meets with clients and families to assist with the process of estate management and estate taxation. She also regularly provides controller based services and tax preparation for small businesses across a range of industries, including engineering, child and education services, software development, manufacturing, real estate development, real estate sales, construction, condominium associations and medical practices.
For 10 years prior to joining Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Sharon established her extensive experience while working for small New Hampshire CPA firms. It was in those roles where she established the foundation for her strong knowledge of estate and trust, tax engagements for individuals, and business, review and compilation services.
After originally earning a degree in education, Sharon returned to school more than 15 years later to pursue her dream of a career in public accounting. Today she attributes her success to her colleagues, past and present, who have challenged her to continue advancing her career, and to her supportive family.
Raised in Claremont, New Hampshire, Sharon currently resides in Exeter with her husband. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her two grown children and their families, reading, traveling and riding motorcycles.
