With spring in full bloom, more and more people are out enjoying the weather and taking advantage of what the community has to offer. When it comes to different places to eat or places to shop, Downtown Rochester has many options.

Christine DeAngelis, MSA, CPA, senior accountant, serves on the PR/Events Committee for the Rochester Main Street. The organization promotes and serves all downtown businesses. “There are so many different events and activities to get involved with at Rochester Main Street,” said DeAngelis. “The local events are such a great opportunity to meet and network with others.”

Upcoming Events

Below are just some of the upcoming summer events happening at Rochester Main Street. We hope to see you at some of the events!

  • Saturday, May 4th – Free Comic Book Day in downtown Rochester from 10-4, with artist Kevin Eastman, creator of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  •  Wednesday, June 5th – Wine in the Gardens held at Studley’s Flower Gardens in Rochester, wine tasting and silent auction
  • Thursday, June 6th – Startup Rochester Business Competition Pitch Event – Ten Rod Road Business Park – “Shark Tank” like pitch event to kick off the startup business competition
  • Factory Court Concert Series begins Friday, June 28th – concerts will be held at Factory Court during lunch time on Fridays through August
  • Saturday, July 20th – Annual Blues Festival in downtown Rochester – Be on the lookout for Leone, McDonnell & Roberts team members as they will have a booth set-up and are sponsoring the 1st annual BBQ contest.
