EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for passionate, talented, motivated individuals to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for federal and state tax return preparation (corporate, individual, partnerships and trusts), and perform audit, review and compilation engagements. As a team member, you will become active in client engagement and development. As a member of our professional staff, you will be required to read and be familiar with pronouncements from the AICPA and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Four-year accounting degree required
  • CPA or CPA candidate
  • 2-4+ years of related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or in team setting on complex assignments and projects
  • Knowledge, proficiency and aptitude for applicable software and firm technology (ProSystem FX or other tax software), including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office applications.

ENTRY LEVEL STAFF ACCOUNTANT

An ideal start for the college graduate, a full-time Staff Accountant will be responsible for tax return preparation and performing assigned segments of audit or accounting engagements, in some instances assuming substantial responsibility with supervision for small accounting engagements involving compiled or reviewed financial statements and tax returns. Staff will become active in client engagement and development. Our Firm requires that all our staff stay up-to-date on Firm policies, procedures, and the AICPA and state CPA society’s rules, regulations and Code of Conduct. Staff is to regularly read and be familiar with pronouncements from the AICPA and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). Staff is encouraged to sit for and pass the CPA examination, if eligible.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Four-year accounting degree required
  • Plan to obtain 150 credit hours, CPA candidate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills

FRONT DESK / OFFICE SUPPORT – NORTH CONWAY

We are looking for passionate, talented, motivated individuals to join our firm! We are seeking an experienced, friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented front office person to join our North Conway administrative team. The position is year-round part-time with full-time hours during the busy tax season. There may be opportunity down the road for full-time hours as well.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering phones; greeting clients and vendors; collating tax returns and financial statements; file maintenance; incoming and outgoing mail; printing; copying; scanning; maintaining document logs; and performing other administrative work as needed.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

  • Prior office experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge, proficiency and aptitude for applicable software and firm technology, including Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is helpful.

2022 WINTER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

A winter (busy season) intern with gain meaningful experience with the tax discipline (as well as some audit) while having the opportunity to work with various members of our team as well as clients. The internship will afford students the opportunity to develop time management, communication and project management skills as well as understand the value of teamwork and the importance of relationships. Interns will also learn how to use complex technology as a tool to help manage multiple projects.

  • Part-time opportunity with flexible hours depending on candidate availability (16-24 hours)
  • Possibilities of both in-office and remote work
  • January 2022 through April 2022
  • Competitive compensation package

Education and Experience:

  • Must be working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting or Business with interest in working in New Hampshire after graduation.
