John J. Daigneault
I believe the most important things I can offer clients are my time and knowledge. As a result, my goal is to always make them available to my clients whenever they need me.
John’s Biography & Credentials
John joined Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association in 1988 and was admitted to the firm’s partner group in 2000. As Treasurer of the firm, he manages the firm’s finances and internal accounting. John is also the partner-in-charge of the Wolfeboro office.
Beyond his leadership responsibilities, John’s client base primarily comprises small businesses. In particular, he provides comprehensive tax preparation and planning services for organizations in the hospitality and retail industries. Further, John is heavily involved with the firm’s not-for-profit niche, concentrating on financial statement preparation and audit services.
Over the course of his 30-plus year career, John has played an integral role in his clients’ ongoing success. For example, he has coordinated between a client and research and development (R&D) firm to obtain R&D tax credits, and ultimately, larger refunds. Additionally, John previously introduced a client to an alternative financing group and was able to help secure financing, even after other banks declined to work with the client.
John has always enjoyed technical fields, as well as business, which inspired him to pursue a career in accounting. Today he attributes his success to the respect he shows for others, including his clients and colleagues. This was a life lesson John learned growing up and a value he has carried with him ever since.
John grew up in the small northern Vermont town of Derby Line. He currently resides in Wolfeboro with his wife Connie. Outside the office, John is an avid sports fan and enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.
