We are pleased to announce that Evan Stowell has been named Managing Partner of the firm effective July 1, 2019. Evan was named Partner and appointed Secretary in 2012, and he has been an integral member of firm management. He succeeds Jack Callahan, who served as Managing Partner for seven years. Jack has been a cornerstone in the firm’s success over the years, and the team at Leone, McDonnell & Roberts is grateful for his dedication and commitment. As a Partner, Jack will continue serving clients and sharing his insight with the leadership team.

Evan will oversee the firm’s five offices, while continuing to specialize in audit engagements, as well as taxation and accounting services. His client-centered vision, leadership skills, keen insight, commitment to employees, and technical expertise across broad range of industries will serve clients and the firm well into the future.

Evan began his career with us in 2002 following his graduation from Southern New Hampshire University. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Hampshire, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Active in the accounting industry and the local community, Evan has held leadership roles in a number of nonprofit organizations including the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants, Cornerstone Visiting Nurses Association and The Rochester Opera House. Evan resides in Somersworth, New Hampshire with his wife Jessica and their two children.

Regarding the succession plan transition, Jack said, “The firm is poised for continued growth and success under Evan’s leadership. He puts people first, and is passionate about finding and mentoring the next team of leaders who will best serve our clients in the spirit of collaboration, efficiency and innovation. Given the regulatory changes to our industry and emerging technologies in the accounting profession, Evan is well-suited to advance the firm with our clients’ goals in mind. We are excited to see him excel in this role and expect a bright future under his direction.”
