IRS Federal – C Corporations (1120) | April 18, 2023 | You can request a 6-month extension, October 16, 2023. An estimate of payment is due at the time of filing the extension. | |
IRS Federal – Individuals (1040) | April 18, 2023 | IRS begins accepting and processing individual 2021 tax returns on January 24, 2022. You can request a 6-month extension, October 16, 2023, to file your taxes, however, you must still pay any balances you may owe by April 18, 2023. Maine and Massachusetts taxpayers should be aware of any differences in the dates due to the Patriots’ Day which is observed in those states. | |
